0.4.0, subtitled "For Your Convenience (Part 2)" was a major update to Fruit Juice Tycoon: Refreshed. Its main focus was on making several quality of life improvements and overhauling the inventory and the Shop.

Changes
UI & Menus
- Overhauled the Shop:
- (+) Tools and Placeables are no longer on random rotation
- (-) Tools and Placeables now require the player to get certain Achievements to unlock
- (-) Raised the price of most items
- (-) The Umbrella and Personal Teleporter are now located in the Shop
- (+) Shop now has 8 slots for Consumables
- (+) Consumables have a chance to be sold in bulk for a discount
- Overhauled the Inventory:
- Item Cards have replaced the item info sidebar, similar to other menus (i.e. Shop and Placeables menu)
- Item Cards now offer more information on their effects
- Added dividing lines to item cards to separate groups of text info (i.e. title, description)
- Added the option to use Consumables while viewing their item card
- Added the option for Consumables to be automatically used when their buff expires
- Stats menu now tracks non-Consumable, Tycoon-wide buffs, such as the Mutagen and Enchanted Oak Tree
Gameplay
- (+) Plants can now be affected by multiple boosters of the same type at once
- (-) Enchanted Oak Tree now increases the multiplier of all dropped fruits to be Shiny by 1, rather than multiplying it.
- (+) Increased the maximum n00bfr00t trees held from 3 to 9
- (+) Shininess now multiplies the amount of fruit when collected instead of randomly adding 1-3
- (~) Haunted fruit now triple the amount of fruit when collected instead of randomly adding 5-10
- (+) Raised the Tokens cap from 2,500 to 3,000
